Overview

  • ERA
  • Benefits
  • Indications

What is the ERA test?

  • The Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA), developed and patented by Igenomix (PCT/ ES2009/000386), is a test designed to evaluate endometrial receptivity.
  • ERA® is the first diagnostic test that determines each woman’s unique personalized embryo transfer timing, therefore synchronizing the embryo transfer with the individualized window of implantation.

ERA RCT Conclusions

What is the procedure?

  • The ERA utilizes RNA obtained from an endometrial tissue sample.  The RNA  analyzed and then classified by our ERA predictor as receptive or non-receptive, depending on the expression profile of the RNA.
  •  If the endometrium is non-receptive, the test enables us to find a personalized window of implantation for each patient in the majority of cases.

Why use ERA test?

  • Our randomized study* confirms that personalizing embryo transfer according to the day of the cycle in which the patient is receptive achieves better results than transferring on a standard day.
  • 56.2% live birth rate in the first embryo transfer.*
  • ERA maximizes your patient’s chances of pregnancy.
  • This molecular diagnostic tool uses NGS to analyze the expression level of 248 genes related to the status of endometrial receptivity.
  • ERA is backed by 21 publications; 13 from Igenomix and 8 external publications.
  • Proprietary algorithm based on machine learning that minimizes the need for a second biopsy (90% of cases)
  • Allow clinicians to identify transition phases with 12 hours shifts.

Who should use ERA test?

  • Indicated for all patients starting assisted reproductive treatments, and has the greatest benefit for those who have experienced repeated implantation failures.

When to perform ERA to your Patient?

When is the secondbiopsy needed?

90 % of cases don’t need a second biopsy. The second biopsy is only required under two circumstances:

  • Patients with a “Pre-receptive” result needing 2 more days with progesterone.
  • Patients with a “Post-receptive” result
